This is one of the first in this series I am calling, Missing the Modern Masters. I while was painting I started to make this work and realized that I was missing the Art Institute of Chicago, the Museum here in Chicago. Before Co-vid over the whole Summer I would be teaching and bringing students there daily to look at a work or two. I did not realize not seeing works by Dove and O'Keeffe would drive me to work in this manor.
